How to get started with appmediation?

To start monetizing your application with appmediation, just create an account and complete the signup process. After that, simply integrate the appmediation SDK to start monetizing.

What payment methods does appmediation support?

We offer payment via PayPal and wire transfer. We do not charge a fee for processing your transaction, but payment providers may have their own service fees. Please contact them directly for more information.

Do I have to install the appmediation SDK?

Integrating our SDK is mandatory in order to unlock all the features of appmediation. You can find our latest SDKs and documentation here.

What currency do you offer payments in?

Appmediation takes the privacy of our developers and their end-users seriously. We understand that user data is important to our developers’ values and operations. That is why we are taking measures to support our partners’ compliance with EU data protection requirements, including those set forth in the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), effective May 25, 2018.

What is GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) is a new European privacy law that is set to replace the current EU Data Protection Directive (“Directive 95/46/EC”). The GDPR is intended to strengthen the security and protection of personal data in the EU.

Will Appmediation GDPR-compliance mean that publishers will also be considered GDPR-compliant automatically?

No, according to the GDPR rules app developers are responsible for collecting consent from end-users about any data collection either your app or partner SDK is fetching for targeting or any other purpose. Refer to this link for more details or contact a legal professional for more details.

How can I request my data to be deleted?

Will Appmediation be compliant with GDPR?

Appmediation will have a process in place by the third week of May to ensure compliance with GDPR by the date it goes into effect – May 25th, 2018. We’ve updated our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions accordingly and ask our Publishers for consent to the terms before we start working together.

Do you have a way to indicate whether the ad request is coming from an EU data person and whether they have consented to passing data?

Yes, our newest SDKs to be released in the mid-May which will have flags to handle user consent and this is mandatory information that publishers need to provide in each user session. We’ll send out communication once the SDKs are released.

How Appmediation ensures data security?

We ensure that data held within the Appmediation platform is secure. We have a strict security policy and continuously run tests to ensure that data remains secure. We transmit and store all data very securely and more information will be provided after signing the NDA.
